WEEKS 9-10

Art Media

In weeks nine and ten we covered the different media types of art. Specifically we covered dry and wet media types. Some of the dry media types are graphite or lead drawings, charcoal, or pastels. Each of these types of media are considered dry because they require no drying time.

Wet Media Types

Later on we started to go over the wet media types, which include water color, tempra, acrylic, and oil paints. Some also include inks and pastels. Wet media is so important because it makes up a large portion of the art community. Most people think of painting when they think of art.
